Tenses
Simple past:
Events that started and finished in the past.
If date or time is mentioned use simple past.
Use simple past for actions that interrupt.
Past continuous:
Actions that were happening in the past.
Actions that were interrupted.
Usually followed by when.
Past perfect:
To mention experiences you had in the past.
To mention actions you had done before other actions (lo que había hecho antes de.....)
